Abu Dhabi Unveils Visionary Mega-Project to Transform Lulu Island

Abu Dhabi has unveiled a monumental mega-project to transform the iconic Lulu Island into a world-class tourism and residential destination. Master developer Modon Properties will spearhead the ambitious project, which aims to create a globally recognized landmark that seamlessly blends ultra-modern luxury with the island's natural beauty.

This transformational plan is a cornerstone of Abu Dhabi's strategic vision to enhance its status as a premier global city. According to Jassem Mohamed Bu Ataba Al Zaabi, Chairman of Modon Properties, the project will create a unique "elevated lifestyle destination" that caters to discerning residents and international visitors alike.

The development will cover a vast 1,390,000 square meters and will feature an array of spectacular attractions. Plans include a 300-room luxury hotel, an expansive water park, a glamorous beach club, and a collection of exclusive residential villas. A key feature of the island's new landscape will be a large earthen hill, offering breathtaking, elevated views of the Abu Dhabi skyline and the Arabian Gulf.

The masterplan includes extensive green spaces, winding water canals, and a design that prioritizes ecological balance.
